Biological Parent Search We are a search agency established in Bogota 2 years ago. We have many success stories, and can provide upon request references of our work by past or current clients. Our private investigators are among the best in the field. They have a combined experience of over 30 years. Retired from law and intelligence government agencies, they are now in charge of their own private agencies. We found that over 20,000 children have been given in adoption in Bogota alone. With many of them coming of age and with a growing desire to find their family roots, we established a way for them to start and hopefully successfully conclude a search. It is estimated that 2% of the U.S. population, or about 6 million Americans, are adoptees. This means that counting all in the adoption triad, 1 in 8 Americans are directly touched by adoption. A large majority of these adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents will, at some point in their lives, actively search for biological parents or children separated by adoption. They search for many different reasons, including medical history, the curiosity to know more about the person’s life. By far the most common reason given is genetic curiosity, the desire to find a face, a look, a gesture like your own… the need to see your reflection in someone else’s physical traits. The decision to search is a very serious one. People's lives will be affected forever. We are sure that you have thought about it for a long time, you have done research, you have considered the consequences, and feel secure no matter the results. Search will take time, money, and a great deal of patience and determination. It can take days, months, years, or never be successful. It is crucial for you to understand the psyche of the person you are searching for. Remember that she may need much less or much more than you do. While your needs are important, hers are as well. More than likely, this person does not expect your desire to search. Your appearance in her life will be feared regardless if it is welcomed or rejected. We hope to hear from you soon. | |||
